APTA Junior Nationals Update - Please Read

March 4, 2021

Dear Players and Parents,

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unfortunately no longer able to host non-New Jersey Residents at the APTA Jr Nationals this coming weekend. We are crushed by this development and sincerely apologize for the short notice. We have come up with a great solution in order to allow all players to still compete in Junior Nationals.

NEW JERSEY
The 236 NJ juniors who have signed up, will all play in the Nationals NJ Qualifier event this Saturday March 6th. All players will have a 9am start except for the Boys 18 & U division who will start at 10am, at the Upper Ridgewood Tennis Club. All other site assignments will be released tomorrow.

PENNSYLVANIA
Laurie Hissey will host all registered Pennsylvania players at the National PA Qualifier this Saturday March 6th. The 10U and 12U divisions will begin at 9am. The 15U and 18U divisions will follow. All Details will be sent directly to all PA players by Laurie Hissey on Thursday. Play will be in the Philadelpiha Area.

CONNECTICUT
Karl Levanat will host the National CT Qualifier. Karl will contact all CT players in the next couple of days with details regarding this event. Play will be in Darien.

NEW YORK
Lisa Rudloff will host the National NY Qualifier on March 27th at Huntington Country Club. Lisa will reach out to all NY players with further details for this event. Play will be in Long Island.

The new date for all qualifying teams will be Saturday April 17th. We are finalizing all of the details for this event and we will communicate them as soon as possible.

Once again, we are so sorry that we cannot hold the event as planned and we appreciate your support as we continue to navigate through the reality of playing paddle in the midst of COVID-19. We have a great day of paddle planned and look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday.

Best,

Greg Morgan and Patty Hogan
