Proceeds from this year's tournament will go to: Evanston Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) .

jdrf Founded in 1970 by parents of children with type 1 juvenile diabetes, JDRF has always focused on a single goal—accelerating research progress to cure diabetes and its devastating complications. Usually striking during childhood, this most severe form of the disease annually accounts for almost $100 billion in health care costs in the U.S. alone. Chosen by Barron's as one of only four charities that are leaders in efficiency and effectiveness, more than 80 percent of JDRF’s expenditures directly support research and research-related education.

The JDRF & CPTTC are both 503(c) organizations. The JDRF website for donations is: http://jdrf2.jdrfillinois.org/cgi-bin/WebObjects/jdrf.woa/wo/DonateStep1.wo
