Max comes to us from Nice, France, where he grew up playing on red clay and was ranked as one of the top players in the country. Shortly after moving to the United States, he received a scholarship to the University of Miami in Florida. He played singles and doubles while earning his degree in international business. He started his teaching career at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, where he worked for seven years. Max then went on to spend five summers as the Head Professional at the Westmoor Club in Nantucket, Massachusetts, while spending his winters at the Rye Racquet Club in Rye, New York. After two years at the Stanwich Club in Greenwich, CT, he became the Director of Racquets at Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville, NY, from 2011 to 2015.

Max is an avid paddle player and credits his first partner, Mike Gillespie, for teaching him how to play the game. He enjoys playing in the NRTs, Grand Prix events, and Nationals, and has been ranked as high as #3 in the country. He has won two Blanchard Cup titles (with Juan Arraya and George Wilkinson) and hopes to add a few more titles along the way.
