APTA Clinics and Exhibitions

As some of you are aware the APTA/PPTA does promotional clinics and exhibitions throughout the country during the platform season. The purpose of these clinics/exhibitions is to spread the good word of our sport to undeveloped or declining areas.

Our goal is to grow the game of platform tennis in these areas through exposure and interaction with current members that want to give back to the sport they love. In turn, they pass along the education and knowledge they have from their areas that will help build a foundation for which the city and or club can build on.

Over the years we have been very instrumental in the growth of platform in areas like Chapel Hill , Minneapolis, Kansas City and Atlanta among others. Our schedule for 2008 includes five clinics:

October 3-4 – Minneapolis, MN
October 3-4 – Buffalo, NY
October 19 – Six Chicagoland locations - Junior Jamboree
November 1 – Atlanta, GA
November 15  – Charlottesville, VA
Date TBD – Chapel Hill
