Introducing Isabel Cabanne

isabel cabanne small The APTA is thrilled to welcome Isabel Cabanne to her new role as Web Publisher.

A long-time enthusiast, Isabel hails from Winnetka, Illinois -- the largest public platform tennis program in the Midwest region. Isabel brings significant experience to her new role, as a tournament director, a software developer, and an entrepreneur.

Isabel will be the first person employed by the APTA exclusively for the purpose of engaging members  by sharing information on-line about our favorite sport. 

 

 

Isabel will report to Executive Director Ann Sheedy. Her duties will include:

  1. Keeping the existing content of the web site up-to-date
  2. Using initiative and contacts across the continent to identify interesting articles
  3. Soliciting articles, digital photographs, and videos from Tournament Directors, APTA Regional Presidents, and others
  4. Writing articles and editing articles written by others; posting entry forms, draws, and match results; cropping photographs; arranging slideshows; editing videos; graphical layout of all postings to the web site
  5. Maintaining appropriate branding and fulfilling the APTA’s obligations on the web site to its advertisers
  6. Coordinating updates to the web site with the mass e-mail messages to APTA members
