Charles F. (Chuck) BairdIt is with great sadness that we pass on the news of the death of Chuck Baird on December 26, 2009. Chuck was inducted into the APTA Hall of Fame in 1992. He held 23 APTA national senior titles and in 1982 he turned the hat trick winning the 50s, 55s and 60s. More |

New board members were voted in, regional, financial and other reports were delivered, and the board held extensive meetings on a wide variety of topics. Hall of Fame Committee Chairman Bob Brown has announced that Winnie Hatch and Sharon Hummers have been elected by the APTA Board to the Platform Tennis Hall of Fame, in recognition of their outstanding achievements on the court as well as their other contributions to the game.
