Emily Speaks Out on Questionable Line Calls

Emily-NetPost-150January 2013

Dear Emily NetPost:

What do you do when you clearly see that an opponent has made a bad line call?

Sharp-sighted in Cincinnati

Dear Cincy:

Easy breezy. You may ask your opponent’s partner if he agrees with the call. If he does, the call stands. No complaining in the paddle hut. No whining to your team captain. No moping at the dinner table. No retaliatory questionable calls (for you may remember that old French proverb: “There is no pillow so soft as a clear conscience.”)

With kind and virtuous regards,
Emily NetPost
