Format
This tournament is limited to players whose combined Series add up to 4 or more. That means that any Series 1 player who might want to enter must play with a Series 3 or more partner -- and, of course, two Series 2 players can partner up. And, if you are rostered on two different teams, then the higher (skill-wise) team is the one that counts in the formula. Also, just like last year, no pros are allowed regardless of where they are rostered.
3-person teams: A unique feature of this tournament is that, if you want to, you can sign up as a three-person “link” team so that you take only 67% of the pounding or to accommodate busy weekend schedules. But remember, the entry fee is $90 per player -- not $180 per team -- and you cannot add a new player to your team once the tournament begins. And also, once two of the three players begin a match, you cannot have the third member substitute during that match. If one of the players goes down with an injury, you default that match and then use the third member of the team for the next match.
